Human Capital Value (HCV) is the human factors that have a direct impact on an employee’s quality of life. Corporate culture, management style, business goals, and physical environment are just some of the HCV factors we consider when representing an opportunity. Our executive search consultants spend as much time qualifying the Hiring Authority as they do the potential Candidate.

The Evaluation Process
The Human Capital Group performs complete analyses of the clients with whom we choose to work. In addition to the HCV factors, the parameters we consider are:
- Industry reputation: What is your reputation in the marketplace?
- Competition: Who are your direct and indirect competitors? What are your differentiators?
- Human Capital: What is your current growth rate? Have you had past layoffs? What do current employees say about the company?
During this information gathering process, we work to establish a close relationship with the Hiring Authorities. The information that we gather ensures that the Candidates we recommend are thoroughly briefed on the company’s standard operating procedures, strategic direction, and expectations of employees.

The Partnership Process
Needs-based Assessment: The Human Capital Group (HCG) studies the corporate culture, business goals, and industry profile, and their impact on the company’s short-term and long-term staffing needs.
Hiring Process Assessment: HCG analyzes the current procedure for hiring new employees including the interview process, ideal candidate profiles, and methods for extending offers. HCG then offers solutions to adjust processes that may be negatively affecting the attraction and retention of talent.
Account Profile: Based on results of the Needs-Based Assessment, a strategic hiring plan is established. This includes creating a profile-template for the ‘ideal’ candidate(s) for current and future job openings within the company. An assessment of the job market will establish whether compensation packages for available opportunities are on target and competitive. An analysis of how the company is currently marketed to prospective candidates will determine how the Client can attract the best candidates in the current labor market.
Proposal: HCG presents a success matrix for fulfilling the client’s staffing requirements. This consists of time frames, goals, profiles, plus any customization of HCG’s recruitment procedures to better complement that of our client’s own procedures.
Search Process: With the above background information and guidelines in place, the search begins. The Client knows the kind of Candidate he’ll be interviewing based on profiles that have been pre-established through the assessment. This produces the round plugs for the round holes previously alluded to - quickly.
Ongoing Follow-up: HCG monitors the success of each Client placed within a corporation and continues to work with the Client to fine-tune the corporate hiring procedures. Ongoing relationship development works to ensure that future hiring goals are planned and deadlines are efficiently met.
